Flats fishing is ideal for both advanced anglers looking to hone their skills, as well as for beginners who prefer fishing in calm, shallow waters. Using fly or spinning gear, we'll target species on the flats and along the edges by sight fishing, utilizing sharp eyes by guide and angler. Flats fishing is a quality-over-quantity type of sport fishing that requires teamwork to be successful. If the flats are slow between tides, we can journey into the Everglades Park to fish the grass flats and sloughs where we'll find snook, redfish, tarpon, trout and more.

The Dolphin 16' Super Skiff is my boat of choice on the flats. The most respected boat in flats fishing today, it is designed for long running in open bays with severe chop. The hull is a unique combination of deep V and shallow draft, with an integrated spray rail to keep you exceptionally dry. The Super Skiff was the first boat specifically developed for stalking bonefish, permit and tarpon on the shallow flats, earning the reputation as the stealthiest, best polling flats boat on the planet.
